Abstract

A close-up photographic view of a plate of small pyrite crystals partially covered by intergrown rhodochrosite crystals exhibiting a discoidal, flattened rhombohedral form. This mineral specimen is from the Eagle mine, Gilman mining district, Eagle County, Colorado.
