Abstract
Miners' clothes hang from hooks in the dirty clothes change room at the Sherwood Mine. The Sherwood Mine was an underground iron mine near Iron River, Michigan in the Menominee Range. The Mine was open from 1931-1975. It was the last working underground iron mine in Iron County, and was operated by Inland Steel Company.
