dc.description.abstractA blurred photo shows a blast with debris rising in the air at the Canisteo Mine. The Canisteo Mine is in the Mesabi Range near Coleraine, Minnesota. It is a complex of open pit iron mines operated by different companies from 1907 to about 1984. One of these companies was the Cleveland-Cliffs Iron Company.
