But what is the impact for libraries, publishers, and users? In this session, an academic librarian and an information provider discuss whether the increased usage of library discovery systems has had an impact on the usage of their material. What drives usage, how can we measure it, and what have we learned? The Colorado School of Mines will present results from the library perspective and draw conclusions about the impact of the increased usage of discovery systems on the role libraries play in supporting teaching, learning, and research.
