The Arcturus open pit iron mine in the Mesabi range near Marble, Minnesota was operated by the Oliver Iron Mining Company. The Oliver Iron Mining Company was organized in 1892 in Minnesota and acquired a number of mineral properties in Minnesota and in the Upper Peninsula.
