dc.descriptionNo. 83. Glen Doe is the most charming portion of the valley of the Cache-a-la-Poudre. It is located fifty miles back from the plains and consists of a beautiful grassy valley through which the river flows, enclosed by abrupt mountains running from one to two thousand feet high. The elevation at its upper end is 7,611 feet. The mountain here rises 1,700 above the river--Verso.
