dc.description.abstractStereopair slide showing Vanadium Corporation of America's employee, John Blackburn, who was the office manager and mines auditor at the Durango Uranium-Vanadium Processing Plant during the 1950s. The Vanadium Corporation of America owned uranium-vanadium mines and processing plants in Colorado, Utah, Arizona, and New Mexico during the uranium boom of the 1950s, and it had contracts to supply the Atomic Energy Commission with uranium.
