dc.description.abstractThe image shows several sinks in the wash room of the change house at the Sherwood Mine. The Sherwood Mine was an underground mine near Iron River, Michigan in the Menominee Range. The Mine was open from 1931-1975. It was the last working underground iron mine in Iron County, and was operated by Inland Steel Company.
