dc.description.abstractCongress paper recaps two previously used test procedure for inspecting wire rope on ropeways and introduces the new imaging method. In the new method, magnetic scatter fields on the rope surface and detected and displayed with a high resolution. Illustrative drawings and photographs. The new method eliminates need for radiographic checks to the old magnetic inductive testing. (CFD).
