dc.description.abstractA miner uses a boot shower at the Sherwood Mine. The Sherwood Mine was an underground iron mine in the Menominee Range in Iron County, Michigan. The Mine was operated from 1931-1975 by the Inland Steel Company. The Sherwood was the last working underground iron mine in Iron County.
