    Abstract
This presentation gives an overview of the current challenges to higher education, including the decline of state funding and the nationwide rise in tuition; shaping forces of the future such as accountability, enrollment competition, changing business practices, and compliance concerns; and the ways in which CSM is poised to respond to these challenges and forces as part of the ongoing effort to execute the long-term strategic plan.
