There were several Greenback mines in Colorado, but this may be an image of men from the Greenback Mine east of Leadville in Lake County. The image shows about forty-eight men from the night shift of the Mine. Some of the men hold lanterns or lunch pails. The Mine probably produced lead, zinc and silver.
