dc.description.abstractPhotograph of the Mine and Smelter Supply Company, Race Street (?). Cars are parked in the parking lot in front of the building entrance. The Mine and Smelter Supply Company was originally located at the corner of 17th and Blake in Denver and may have been in business in Denver as early as 1860 at an unidentified location. The original building burned to the ground in 1969, but the Mine and Smelter Supply Company moved to a new location at 3800 Race Street by the 1950s.
