Abstract
Eagle River Canyon, with a mine and rails in the foreground; other mines are visible along the slopes of Battle Mountain and the buildings of Gilman are visible along the skyline. The tipple, covered trestle and sorting house, and mill buildings are at the base of the Canyon and railroad tracks are along the banks of the Eagle River.
