Abstract
Stereopair slide showing a rod mill at the Vanadium Corporation of America's Durango Uranium-Vanadium Processing Plant. After the carnotite and roscoelite ores were crushed by a jaw crusher, they were pulverized by this rod mill. The ore was then salt roasted and leached. Uranium concentrate (yellow cake) and vanadium concentrate (red cake) were precipitated from the leaching solution.
