Abstract
Mineral specimen is from the Commodore mine, Amethyst vein system, Creede mining district, Colorado. Some of the sphalerite exhibits twinning according to the spinel law, some of which has a polysynthetic habit. The galena crystals are, at least in part, skeletal with a stairstep arrangement of the cubic form.
