Abstract
Stereopair of the eastern slope of James Peak showing the rock formation Sphynx Rock. The summit of James Peak is 13,294 feet above sea level and is the junction of three counties (Clear Creek, Gilpin and Grand). The Continental Divide line crosses its summit. Sphynx Rock is in Clear Creek County.
