Abstract
Photograph showing the houses and other buildings in the town of Christmas, Arizona (Gila County). Train tracks, road cuts, and mine tailings are also visible in the photograph. The Christmas lode was discovered in the late 1870s at the site of the town of Christmas. The Mine began large scale operations in the early 1900s. The town was finally abandoned in the 1980s.
