Abstract
Three canoes, one in the far background at the starting point, are shown in Clear Creek at the Cardboard Canoe Race. The two canoes in the foreground are going over the rapids backwards. The lead canoe is red; the second canoe is painted camouflage pattern and has the words "Shiku" and "Namibia" visible. The 7th Annual Cardboard Canoe Race was held as a part of Safar-E-Days 2007, the E-Days celebration in March at the Colorado School of Mines. Teams built rafts composed of cardboard, duct tape and twine to race in Clear Creek.
