Abstract
Stereopair slide showing the leaching tank at the Vanadium Corporation of America's Durango Uranium-Vanadium Processing Plant. Crushed carnotite and roscoelite ores were first salt roasted and then leached in this tank. Uranium concentrate (yellow cake) and vanadium concentrate (red cake) were precipitated from the solution.
