Abstract
Photograph of Monterrey Steel Mill showing rows of ladle equipment used to pour the molten steel into the molds. This steel plant near Monterrey, Mexico was opened in 1900, and its products included pig iron, steel ingots, billets, bars, rods, rails, coils and beams. The plant had three blast furnaces, eight open hearth furnaces, electric steel furnaces, and nine rolling mills.
