Abstract
Caption reads: "Anaconda, Cripple Creek district, 1892. The open cut on the Great View claim of the Anaconda group was opened up in 1892. The vein mater, outcroppings, surface dirt and grass roots made up the shipments. Anaconda G. M. Co. was incorporated in 1892 by D. H. Moffet, Eben Smith and others. The Company holdings of 21 claims, 150 acres, produced up to Jan 1st 1900. $1.001.476.82. Snapshot taken 1897. Left--J. H. Brinker, Belleview, Ohio and Allen Morell (dynamite salesman), Cripple Creek, Colo."
